Writing a Resume - Using the Best Resume Writing Service For Nurses
Writing a Resume - Using the Best Resume Writing Service For NursesUsing the best resume writing service for nurses is not an easy task. There are so many people trying to get your attention in the office of a nurse recruitment agency or through other recruiting sources. If you're looking for help, there's a good chance that your prospect has already applied for positions with the same agency. So what can you do to convince them to hire you?First, make sure that you write a professional resume. When it comes to a nursing position, your professional resume will be used as the first impression for the prospective employer. The first impression lasts for a long time and it's critical that you write your resume using these six important points to make it stand out. If you want the best resume writing service for nurses, make sure that you stick to these tips.First, don't try to become an expert on nursing before you ever meet with the potential employer. While this is true in most career fields, it's more critical for nurses. It can be easier to tell whether or not the prospective employer is interested in nurses through the content of your resume. If you give examples of the kind of work you've done at your previous jobs, the employer will feel confident about hiring you. However, if you show experience only in specific procedures or certifications, the employer won't know if you'll be able to handle the job requirements.A second important thing to remember is that it's never too early to begin collecting samples. Remember that most employers use samples to compare your skills against the work environment. A written resume that includes samples of the experiences you can offer them will do wonders for you. Taking the time to get samples in advance will give you a much better chance of landing a job interview.Third, make sure that you emphasize your strengths. Nursing schools, hospitals, and agencies keep track of a variety of skills you have acquired. Make sure th at you highlight these specific areas in your resume. To do this, just make sure to include some sample achievements where you excelled. Also, keep in mind that not all applicants look good in photos. Photos can help the hiring organization to determine your ability to work in a highly stressful situation. If you have a bad photo, consider taking a second, slightly cropped version and uploading it on the Internet. Finally, you should practice your resume until it is perfect. A number of companies, including nursing recruitment agencies, require that their applicants proofread their resumes. So if you haven't done this yet, now is the time to do it. Practice the features that you want highlighted so that you can get it right the first time. One last tip: you should never give up! Remember that your resume is just that, a tool to help the employer to assess your skills and qualifications, not a letter that tells them what they already know.

Inspiring Your Co-Workers - Hallie Crawford
Inspiring Your Co-Workers Certified Career Coach, has had another article published on US News called, 3 Ways to Inspire Your Employees or Co-Workers. Understanding the needs of your co-workers promotes productivity and communication. Being inspired and motivated at work is a critical piece to being successful in your job. And when youre working within a team or managing your employees, their excitement, or lack of it, is infectious. Weve all experienced that high when we are working together with our group and everyone seems in the flow, moving quickly and easily through tasks. Sometimes our team members or employees give us that boost and other times, we need to provide that boost to them. It especially falls upon us as leaders to look after the needs and well-being of our employees, and motivate them when they just arent feeling it. Maslows hierarchy of needs, a theory proposed by the psychologist Abraham Maslow in 1943, states that when the basic needs of a person are taken care of, they are more able to succeed and reach for greater goals. Keeping this principle in mind, how can you help meet the basic needs of your team, and beyond that, inspire them on a consistent basis? Here are three tips to start with. Read More

My Top Tips for Writing and Spelling Numbers on Your Resume
My Top Tips for Writing and Spelling Numbers on Your ResumeAs much as it pains me to admit it, spelling and writing numbers can be really hard. Unfortunately, many employers are not going to understand a certain way of writing or spelling numbers unless they can see that you know how to write or spell numbers in your work place. Here is a little secret, you may want to keep in mind about the way you work with numbers on your resume. At least, I think it is the case. Many people tend to assume that they must learn how to write or spell numbers in their work place just like they would any other language. The problem is that, most employers do not have any idea what an English teacher teaches them in college and would simply be very surprised if you suddenly start writing all of those numbers down and you start using English on your resume! That is not to say that if you were a teacher, they would not notice you were learning a new language on your work place, but if you were a college pr ofessor, you would not have the right attitude to do so. Think about it. What happens if your boss gets all excited when he sees that you have written the numbers down in Spanish or Chinese? In this day and age of computerized data entry, computers and programs, including your work place, have access to a lot of information, and sometimes even more than you know. If you start writing out the numbers with the wrong tone, or don't keep your vocabulary and grammar up to date, your resume will be sitting there for a while before anyone catches onto it. This is why I recommend you do your best to keep your grammar and vocabulary up to date, even on your resume, while still writing in your preferred language. However, the easiest way to get through any writing test that you are going to need to pass at work is to make sure that you know what it is that you are writing about or presenting. Ifyou can't seem to keep up with what you are doing, and you still keep your work line clear, and you a re able to be creative and articulate at the same time, your chances of passing are greatly increased. Most likely needs to have a job, and work are going to be written out for you in whatever format you choose. Therefore, it is critical that you keep your resume and work line organized. If you always put the numbers on your numbers that you are working with on your work line, and you make sure that you write them correctly, then you will have an easier time keeping track of what you are working on, and possibly taking a little bit of time to keep things in order, while writing your resume and job descriptions.I hope this article has helped you understand some of the ways that you can improve your ability to write or spell numbers correctly on your resume. In my experience, when I write out numbers on my work line and am consistently able to maintain the proper tone and volume for my work line, it helps me to communicate properly and effectively. Because of that, I enjoy writing and spelling numbers on my work line, because it makes me feel more comfortable.

Warren Buffett Charity Run by Sister Doris Seeks Volunteers
Warren Buffett Charity Run by Sister Doris Seeks Volunteers Warren Buffett has famously pledged to give away 99% of his money to charity. But who will get a piece of the fortune, currently estimated at around $66 billion? You could soon have the power to help decide. Every year, a âsmallâ chunk of the moneyâ"$1 to $2 million annually, which is peanuts to Buffettâ"is dished out to hundreds of individuals and organizations via the Sunshine Lady Foundation run by Doris Buffett, Warrenâs 88-year-old sister. As the Boston Globe reported, the Buffetts have received more than 22,000 letters asking for money over the past decade. Many of the requests come from regular people experiencing hard timesâ"in desperate need of a new furnace, kidsâ clothing, medical bills, dentures, mortgage payments, even tombstones and funeralsâ"and yes, the foundation is known to help them out. âThe money does not go directly to individuals; instead, Buffett and her volunteers buy the requested items and have them delivered, or send payments to mortgage companies, utilities, and other creditors,â the Globe clarified. Sifting through all of the requests obviously takes up a lot of time and effort, and Doris âDodoâ Buffett uses a team of volunteers to get it done. After recently relocating to the Boston area, Doris Buffett is currently seeking to beef up her volunteer ranks. And thereâs certainly plenty of cash to dole out. âMy brother is putting up the money, so weâre sort of limitless,â Buffett told the Globe. âHeâs told me that any time I run out of money, all I have to do is call him.â She said that her volunteers must âhave to have a heart somewhere,â and that to qualify you should be âvery practicalâ and ânot be judgmental.â Appropriately, applications for the volunteer position of âletter readerâ are not accepted electronically. A website lists the address where physical application letters should be sent, as well as other details. Those who are accepted shouldnât expect to be chatting with Warren Buffett around the office water cooler. He is not directly involved in the operation, and said to the Globe of his sister, âI like to give away money wholesale and she likes to give away money retail.â Read Next: Warren Buffett Says Presidential Candidates Are âDead Wrongâ About Americaâs Future âI mean, she is genuinely interested in a guy whoâs had his pickup truck stolen or whatever it may be,â Warren Buffett said. âThrough no fault of their own, theyâve been handed a bum deal in their life. And I empathize with those people, but Iâm not going to spend my days working with them.â
